All Eames Lounge Chairs share the same features, aiming to make the body feel comfortable and relaxed. The design is that both the seat and the footstool are hand-assembled, with a focus on details. The frame is made of 7-layer plywood, and the seat cushions are separately arranged and replaceable. The back support and the base are both made of die-cast aluminum, and the seat base is equipped with an internal rotating mechanism. The shockproof part is made of natural rubber, and the chair is equipped with adjustable stainless steel footrests. Soft packaging must be aesthetically pleasing, fluffy and plump, with a radiating pleated feel. Currently, most counterfeits cannot create natural pleats, which is also an important way to distinguish good from bad. Pleats are natural textures. As long as the sponge inside is filled relatively fully and soft, the pleats will be very natural and have a somewhat fluffy feeling.
The design concept of the Eames Lounge Chair has an important point: humanization. That is, when the software is damaged, consumers can replace it separately without having to change a product just for a seat bag or a backrest bag. So the Eames designed detachable soft packages, which not only applied mechanical principles but also facilitated consumers. The leather used in our TEEMLIVING Eames Lounge Chair is all green leather, and the pleating effect is also quite good. The curved board is made of double-sided wood veneer. Many people are puzzled as to why double-sided wood veneer is used. This is because when disassembling, it is necessary to ensure that the wood veneer is smooth. If it is single-sided wood veneer, it is relatively rough and it is very easy to scratch the soft wood during disassembly. The curvature is 103°. This Angle not only conforms to ergonomics but is also very important for human health. If there are baby children at home, they are lively and active, and like to climb onto the chair to play. There is no need to worry about the chair falling over.
Material introduction of the Eames Lounge Chair
Leather: Cow leather, which is also the most commonly used type of leather in the original version. Its surface is lightly ground and decorated, and the texture is spun out through a roller. This type of leather has a thin coating, is wear-resistant, has strong stretchability, and has a good appearance, texture and comfort. It is a top-quality leather. Although it is expensive, the leather is fine, warm in winter and cool in summer, and is worth buying.
Leather: Napa leather. Napa leather is made from small bull grain leather, tanned with vegetable tanning agents and alum salt. It is not embossed and has no or only slight modification to maintain its natural texture. Napa leather is made with plain grain, so it's quite normal that you can't see the texture of Napa leather. There are many types of napa leather, mainly due to the differences in the leather base and processing techniques. Apart from a few luxury brands in Italy that can guarantee the use of small bull grain leather as the leather base, other factories can't be trusted. Therefore, domestic napa leather is not expensive and is a bit cheaper than cattle leather.
Bent board: The bent board determines the service life of the product. Besides double-sided wood veneer and multi-layer plywood, density and thickness also play a role. It is made by hot-pressing seven-layer plywood (with first-grade birch core), and has double-sided wood veneer on the outside, which is not only beautiful but also durable.
