(3) Solid wood board: few people make it. In addition to being environmentally friendly, it is thicker and more expensive. The reference price is ￥1400+/㎡;
(4) Ecological board: The material is environmentally friendly and has low pollution, but its nail-holding ability and moisture resistance are relatively poor. The reference price is ￥1000-1200 yuan/㎡;
Recommendation: If you are pursuing style, it is recommended to use particle boards; if you are pursuing cost-effectiveness, it is recommended to use multi-layer boards in the south and ecological boards in the north; it is not recommended to choose multi-layer solid wood boards if the cabinet door height is greater than 2m.
2. Plate thickness:
Door panels: 18mm, 20mm, 22mm, laminates: 16mm, 18mm, 20mm, back panels: 3mm, 5mm, 9mm;
To determine whether the cabinet board is 16mm or 18mm, the cost of the cabinet board varies greatly depending on the thickness. The cost of 18mm thick board is 7% higher than that of 16mm thick board. The service life of cabinets made of 18mm thick plates can be more than doubled. The price per square meter quoted by some decoration companies is much cheaper, which may be due to cutting corners;
In order to attract customers with low prices, many businesses tend to make fuss about the backboard. We need to ask how thick the backboard is. We want a thickness greater than 9mm. If the backboard is too thin, it can only be nailed to the wall and cannot be re-used. Disassemble and pay attention to moisture-proofing during the rainy season. Wardrobes using 9mm back panels are generally installed in slots. In this way, the back panel does not occupy much space inside the wardrobe, which is conducive to leaving a gap between the wall and the wall, making the moisture-proof performance better and supporting multiple disassembly, assembly and transfer.
3. Environmental protection grade of the board:
(1) Ordinary E1-E0 level, if there are children at home, choose E0 level and above;

(2) Those who pursue environmental protection can get F4 stars, but the price is on the high side;

2. Board edge sealing
Edge sealing is very important for boards. The difference between boards produced by big brands and small stores lies in the edge sealing. Maybe everyone uses the same particle board, but big brands have advanced edge-banding machines. There are large-scale edge-banding machines that laser-attach the edge-banding tape, making the edge-banding tighter. However, the edge sealing produced by small shops is artificial and factory-made, and it is possible that the edge sealing will fall off after a few years. This is the disadvantage of woodworking cabinets.
1. EVA edge sealing: cheap, prone to glue overflow, poor durability, optional for cost-effectiveness;
2. PUR edge sealing: It has better appearance, is not easy to crack, and is more expensive than EVA edge sealing. This type of edge sealing is used for brand customization;
3. Laser edge sealing: beautiful, high-end, and good in moisture resistance, but expensive.
